Prior to joining the team at Black Mountain Academy, Amber supported clients at a substance abuse recovery facility. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, where she graduated Cum Laude. To her new role as Family Services Coordinator, Amber brings multiple years of customer service experience as well as her wonderful attitude and attention to detail.
Outside of work, Amber can often be found trail running, hiking, and swimming with her partner and her dog Loosha. Amber is also trilingual, speaking German, Dutch, and English, having spent time in both Germany and Switzerland as a child!
