Jack

Jack

Jack, a treeing walker coonhound/rat terrier, loves hiking and proudly boasts a summit of MacRae Peak at Grandfather Mountain, a particularly impressive achievement considering the trail’s use of ladders and cables and Jack’s lack of opposable thumbs. When Jack is not scaling mountains, he likes to play with his stuffed Easter Bunny and eat at his favorite restaurants–the kind where food is just handed to you out of a magical window. Jack loves biology, particularly learning about prey animals, and considers it his personal responsibility to check students’ room standards to ensure beds are made and ready to be rolled in. Jack is a certified therapy dog, cares a great deal about the well-being of the BMA students, and if someone is sad, he can be counted on to provide hugs and lick away tears.
