Black Mountain Academy is a nurturing and small specialized boarding school for neurodiverse adolescent males (ages 14–18, assigned male at birth) who benefit from additional support in social relationships, academics, and daily life. Our homelike environment provides the intentional structure and individualized guidance students need to reach their full potential, enriched by meaningful experiences and adventure within our vibrant local community.

Every element of the Black Mountain Academy’s school and program is thoughtfully designed to foster growth and connection on campus, in the community, and within each student’s family. Our dedicated teachers, skilled staff, and licensed therapists work collaboratively with students to set goals, build relationships, and strengthen executive functioning, emotional regulation, and life skills.
