Therapist – Full Time, Great Pay & Benefits, Rewarding Employment
We are looking for a full-time Therapist to provide direct clinical services to a caseload of students and their families for our year-round therapeutic boarding school. We are seeking candidates with clinical experience and experience working with students on the autism spectrum. Black Mountain Academy is a year-round, small, nurturing therapeutic boarding school. We specialize in supporting adolescent males in grades 9th-12th, who struggle with social skills, emotional regulation, processing speed delays, and have had a history of social and emotional difficulty that has impacted their success within traditional academic and home environments.
We serve a neurodiverse population including students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, level 1, Social-Pragmatic Communication Disorder, Learning & Executive Functioning Disorders, ADHD, Anxiety, and/or Depression.
Our goal is to create an environment in which each student develops the skills, confidence, and self-efficacy necessary to thrive across their lifespan.
- Be able to work collaboratively with staff

Residential Coaches are responsible for helping to facilitate the day-to-day living and recreation activities with our students. Our Residential Coaches assist students in achieving their academic, social, and therapeutic goals. They are responsible for helping to maintain an emotionally and physically safe environment for our students.
