Personal growth is more than a framework for Black Mountain Academy students – it’s a mindset and an integral value woven into each aspect of our school and program.
From day one, our clinical and residential teams build a relationship with each student while working side-by-side with teachers to support academic engagement, emotional well-being, healthy relationships, executive functioning, and independent living skills.
We know students do their best work when they feel a sense of belonging, have the skills they need to succeed, and know they have support when inevitable challenges arise.
We intentionally provide clinically informed care that is integrated into each student’s experience, both in and out of the classroom. Every member of a student’s core team works with students to develop and achieve their academic, personal, and life goals.
